  1. Hey!!

Soooo, I have finally plucked up the courage to make an attempt to write my first ever blog post. For people who know me, I can talk the hind legs of a donkey but when it comes down to sitting down and typing, I suddenly become speechless! Not like me at all! Lol. I guess though it is time to face my fear and tackle it head on so here I am!

I have been the proud owner of Bright And Beautiful for a few years now as I have always been creative and taught myself how to make jewellery purely because I wanted a new pair of earrings and thought I would give it a go myself. The result was pretty dire but it made me want to do better so I bought myself a Dummies Guide to Jewellery Making and swotted for a couple of months learning all the terminology for all the components I would need hence I started off making a LOT of beaded jewellery and sold it as and when I had the time.

In 2015 I decided that the market was saturated with businesses selling jewellery and I needed to find something to make my products stand out a little and so found hand stamping and decided to give it a go. Also around that time I had to quit my day job which was helping the elderly as I was diagnosed with Osteo-Arthritis. Coincidentally around the same time, my business began to pick up which I call my little 'twist of fate' and so I made the decision to focus all my energy into it.

I am a mum to seven daughters, four of which have grown up and flown the nest. I currently have a teenage daughter and two little girls aged 7 and 6 years and so at the moment I drop the children off at school and then my working day begins until I'm off on the school run again at 3.15pm.

I currently sell on Etsy and Handmade on Amazon and occasionally on Ebay and I am still constructing my website. Some days I feel like a headless chicken as there are never enough hours in the day!

And talking of not enough hours, its almost time for me to dash off on the school run pick up so I'd better grab a quick drink and be off!!

    Thanks for reading!

P.S. It wasn't as painful as I thought it would be! Onwards and upwards! Lol.
